Except for Jesus and the Holy Spirit, the Bible is the single greatest blessing God has given to His people. Throughout the centuries, men and women gave their lives to ensure that the next generation would have God's Word as a lamp unto their feet. Today, there are many translations of the Scriptures and most Christians in the english speaking world have greater access to the bible now than ever before. However, many still are not acquainted with all that God has revealed in these 66 books. This series will be woven into our series on the Psalms. After each set of 15 Psalms, we will do a short series of sermons that soar through the books of the Bible, one-per-week.
The goals of this series are
1. To give our people an overarching understanding of the storyline of each book,
2. To show how all 66 books are joined together with a clear unity of purpose,
3. To show how all of the books point to Jesus Christ, and
4. God willing, to give you a hunger for the Word which will drive you to personally read this gift for yourself.
